An iconic restaurant in the Big Apple certain its doors for an indefinite period.
The famous 21 Club it will lay off all its employees by the beginning of next March.
This was reported in a statement from the union that represents restaurant employees.
The place is part of the city since 1930 when it became a famous speak easy, or speakeasy in Manhattan, during the Prohibition period.
The Midtown restaurant is known for its horseman figurines that adorn the balcony at the main entrance.
Inside, the place is decorated with memorabilia from the patrons, among which are details left by Presidents John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton.
