“Famous Lawyer Otto Hasibuan Happy and Relieved with Son’s Engagement: Marriage Advice and Parental Love”

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Famous lawyer Otto Hasibuan admits that he is both happy and relieved that his son has found a life partner.

This was revealed by Otto after Yakup Hasibuan and Jessica Mila held a martumpol or engagement event at HKBP Rawamangun on Saturday (29/4/2023).

“Yes, we as parents are of course happy that we have four children, three married women, only Yakup. So as parents, we don’t have any other thoughts on how our children can get a wife and build a good family,” said Otto Hasibuan to reporters, Saturday (29/4/2023).

As a parent, Otto admitted that it was a little difficult to let go of his son. However, he had to let go for the good of his son.

Otto is sure that Yakup can be independent and can build a good family.

“We are happy because after all the children have to marry. But on the one hand, it’s hard for us to feel that if he’s married, well, that means he has to be independent with his family. It’s hard but it’s a logical consequence that we have to accept as parents,” said Otto.

Otto always prays that his son can become a good husband. He couldn’t describe his current mood.

Because on the one hand he is sad to let go of his son now to have a family, but they have a new family namely Jessica Mila.

Finally, he gave marriage advice to his son.

“My advice to Yakup and Mila in life is to be humble, not arrogant. Both must fear God because for me the fear of God is the beginning of knowledge. So if I think that fearing God will have a happy life, God will add everything,” said Jessica Mila.
