América Ferrera and Kate del Castillo lead a group of eight Latinas who are inviting Hispanic women in California to continue implementing health measures to prevent the spread of covid-19.
The eight women, including the journalist María Elena Salinas and the artists Patty Rodríguez, Rosario Dawson, Liz Hernández, Chloe Bridges and Francia Raísa, are the face of the initiative “Together we are stronger”, which aims to Urge the Latino community not to lower their guard in the fight against the pandemic.
The initiative is part of the “Your actions save idas” campaign, and it was achieved thanks to an alliance between the state of California and the Poderistas organization.
“We all have to do our part to keep our community healthy and safe, getting vaccinated and continuing to wear a mask. We are stronger together, ”Ferrera said in a statement.
The artist is a co-founder of Poderistas, a community built to celebrate Hispanic culture and promote the power of Latinas.
