Famous faces at Lisa Marie Presley’s funeral in Graceland (Brussels)

Family members and celebritiesas singer Axl Rose, Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson and singer Alanis Morissette welcomed the late Elvis’ daughter on Sunday Lisa Marie Presley commemorated at a public funeral service at Graceland. The singer of Guns ‘n Roses sang the song ‘November Rain’, Alanis Morissette her song ‘Rest’. Musician Billy Corgan played a song, Jerry Schilling – father Elvis’ friend and manager – gave a speech. Austin Butler, the 31-year-old actor who plays Elvis in last year’s film of the same name, was also present with his girlfriend Kaia Gerber.

Pilgrimage site

The memorial service at Elvis’ estate in Memphis, Tennessee, was also attended by many friends and fans. A long line of people lined up at the gates of the domain to pay their last respects to the singer.

“Thank you all for coming,” said Lisa Marie Presley’s mother Priscilla Presley. “Our hearts are broken, Lisa, and we all love you.” She read a poignant poem to her only daughter.

Lisa Marie Presley’s grave is located on the Graceland grounds at the grave of her father, music legend Elvis Presley. Her son Benjamin, who took his own life two years ago, is also buried there.

The Graceland estate is now a museum and pilgrimage site for fans. In lieu of flowers, the Presley family would like donations to be made to the Presley Foundation in support of select charities.

Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley’s only child, passed away on January 12 at the age of 54 following a medical emergency. Cardiac arrest killed her.

Lisa Marie Presley grew up in the spotlight. Elvis and Priscilla Presley separated in 1972 when their daughter was 4 years old, and she was only 9 when her father died in 1977. He was 42.

She herself had some well-known exes. She married musician Danny Keough in 1988, with whom she had a daughter, Riley Keough, and son Benjamin Storm Keough.

The couple divorced in May 1994, and about three weeks later, Lisa Marie married superstar Michael Jackson in a ceremony that made headlines worldwide. That marriage lasted two years.

In 1998, she married actor Nicolas Cage after meeting him at a party, but remained married to him for only three months, from August to November 2002. The divorce was finalized in 2004.

Her last marriage to musician Michael Lockwood lasted 15 years. After the birth of twins, she became addicted to painkillers, which she struggled to kick. That marriage also ended two years ago.
