In the Dominican Republic and the rest of the world, vaccines against covid-19 are applied with priority to health workers and older adults. In this second group are some celebrities who have already received the prick with the dose.
In social networks or in the media, celebrities have shared their experience after receiving the vaccine, to call on their fans to do the same to move towards the end of this pandemic.
Among them is the singer Milly Quezada, who reported that he received a second dose of the COVID vaccine at the Moderna laboratory in New York City.
The 65-year-old merenguera has been one of the public figures who has insisted the most on motivating the population to get vaccinated, since she received the first dose in mid-January.
“Declaring war on Covid-19, I just received my 2nd dose and Let’s Go!” Said the artist.
Another who also received the antidote was the former president of the Senate Kind Aristy Castro, who indicated no strong side effects.
“It was a normal process and the side effects are very mild; this time I only felt pains in the body, but the doctors indicated that, if you feel fever, headache or pain in the body, it is only necessary to take the painkillers ”, he assured.
The coronavirus vaccine arrived in the country last Tuesday, and with it brought the hope of getting out of this “viral nightmare” that began in March of last year.
Last Monday the Dominican Republic received the first batch of 20 thousand vaccines against him Covid-19, which arrived from India, and is expected today to receive 30,000 doses more, which will be donated by the Government of that nation.
