In Odessa, Ukraine, a famous actor, member of the KVN team “Odessa Gentlemen,” as well as writer and playwright Evgeniy Khait, died. Showman and deputy of the Odessa City Council Oleg Filimonov reported this on social networks.
“On the morning of January 21, Evgeniy Khait died in Odessa. Farewell to the artist will take place on Tuesday, January 23,” Filimonov said on his Facebook page (owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and is banned). It is clarified that the actor died of cardiac arrest.
Khait is also known as the screenwriter of the “Naked and Funny” project and a participant in the humorous program “Gentleman Show”. As part of the KVN team “Odessa Gentlemen”, Khait became the KVN champion in 1987, and then in 1990.
