During a special gathering with family and friends, the parents-to-be are told that they are expecting a baby boy. Something that Denzel in particular can barely comprehend. “We’re just having a baby boy!” he screams as he grabs his little one’s mother. “I didn’t expect it, I’m so happy!”

Famke is also overjoyed with the unveiling. “A real man makes men,” she laughs after the unveiling. “I’m so glad I got to do this with you. (…) And I’m so curious what our boy will look like, really not normal.”
During the festive gathering, a special role was reserved for Famke’s mother, who sang to her. The singer’s grandmother was also present. “I think it’s so nice that she can still experience this”, says Famke. “This was truly one of the best moments of my life.”

Famke announced last August that she would become a mother for the first time. The news came a day after the couple announced their relationship. Before the camera of RTL Boulevard, Famke previously planned to raise their child gender neutral: “You don’t know in advance what our little one will stand out so we don’t want to connect a color choice in advance.”
