San Luis Potosí, SLP.- In an act of solidarity and generosity, a family decided to provide new opportunities to people from Potosí, as well as people from other parts of the country who need it most, by consolidating a multi-organ donation made at the Hospital Central “Dr. Ignacio Morones Prieto”, with the support of health professionals.

Medical and nursing staff, together with the general director of the Central Hospital, Dr. Jorge Aguilar García, and the head of Health Services, said goodbye to the young Fabiola, who donated her organs, with prolonged applause; This act, beyond being a medical procedure, became a human act loaded with emotion and empathy, since her farewell was not only a tribute to the donor and her family, but also a recognition of the altruistic gesture. her.

The head of Health Services, Daniel Acosta Díaz de León, explained that the donated organs were sent to the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition “Salvador Zubirán”, in Mexico City, as well as to the Regional High Specialty Hospital of Bajío. , in León, Guanajuato, and at the “Dr. “Ignacio Morones Prieto”.
