Family suspects that Undip PPDS student did not die due to suicide but was ill

Families of students from the Special Medical Education Program (PPDS) of the Anesthesia Study Program at Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang, who died under suspicion of suicide, opens his voice. The family suspects that the victim died due to illness.

The family’s lawyer, Susyanto, said the victim had a history of nervousness and if he was tired he would fall ill. It is possible that in a weak and desperate state, the victim injected the anesthetic drug automatically and overdosed.

“The victim died because of an illness, maybe when he was tired in an emergency, maybe he injected too much anesthesia or something. The point is that the family rejects the news that the victim died as a result of suicide,” Susyanto reportedly told reporters. . detikJatengSaturday (17/8/2024).

The family denied that the victim died as a result of suicide. He said the family refused to say the victim died of suicide.

“Basically, the family denies that the deceased died as a result of suicide. We as the legal representatives of the family deny this news,” he emphasized.

However, his party cannot give false information because they fear that a blunder will happen. Susyanto confirmed that what the family knows about the young doctor’s death will be clearly communicated to the police.

“Regarding what went viral, it was said, nukun sewu (sorry) that the victim died due to suicide. We deny it. That is not true. That the deceased died due to illness ,” he said.
