Family of Stabbing Victim Chases Accused’s Mother in Bogor Court, Verdict Postponed

State Court (PN) Bogor postponed the hearing on the verdict in the stabbing case that killed a student at Simpang Pomad, Bogor, with the defendant ASR alias Tukul. After the trial, the family of the student victim of the stabbing chased Tukul’s biological mother and expressed their disappointment.

“My sister Mrs. Haji, this is a photo of my sister, look at Mrs. Haji. See Mrs. Haji how big the wound is. Whose behavior is this, Mamah Haji. My sister lost her life, Mamah Haji, Mamah Haji asked Mamah Haji’s child (defendant Tukul) to come out, I want Mother not to ask for leniency,” said the victim’s sister at the Bogor District Court, Friday (9/6/2023).

Families of the student victims of the stabbing continued to surround Tukul’s birth mother all the way to the Bogor District Court yard. He couldn’t do much because he was always surrounded by the victim’s family while expressing their respective hearts.

“Ask forgiveness, Allah, Ma’am,” replied the woman when the accused Tukul’s biological mother apologized.

In the courtyard of the Bogor District Court, Tukul’s biological mother then sat cross-legged while holding the legs of Arya Saputra’s biological mother, Umay. While continuing to cry, Tukul’s biological mother later apologized.

“I’m sorry ma’am, how are you?,” said Tukul’s biological mother, holding Umay’s legs.

The apology did not melt the heart of Arya Saputra’s biological mother. Umay even asked Tukul to be punished as severely as possible.

“No, my son is not coming back. I am not sorry. Look, this is the behavior of your mother’s son,” said Umay.

“How many years do you want your child to be punished, me explain to Mother, for the rest of his life he should not go out (from prison), this is Mrs. May’s request, yes,” he continued.

The police who were on guard at the Bogor District Court then asked the two parties to disperse. While continuing to cry, Tukul’s biological mother then left the Bogor District Court.

As previously reported, the sentencing hearing for ASR alias Tukul, the executor of the stabbing case that killed students at Simpang Pomad, Bogor City, was postponed. The Bogor District Court (PN) gave an explanation.

“Yes, it’s true (the trial of the Tukul defendant’s verdict was postponed), the panel of judges still needed time to deliberate to make a decision, for that reason the trial was postponed,” said Bogor District Court Public Relations official Daniel Mario to detikcomFriday (9/6/2023).

Mario said the trial for the verdict in the stabbing case that killed a student at Simpang Pomad will be held again on Monday (12/6).

“The trial will be reopened on Monday 12 June 2023 at 10.00 am for the decision agenda,” he said.
