A 14-year-old boy left for school in Sleeuwijk on Monday but never arrived there. His family has been searching for him ever since. His stepfather tells that to Omroep Brabant.
The boy lives in Almkerk. “He hasn’t said anything, left nothing behind. We have no leads at all. We’ve been trying to call him all the time, because he has his phone with him, but it’s turned off.” He indicates that they hardly slept at all last night.
The neighbor of the family also heard last night that the boy was missing. “I am very shocked by it. He’s such a sweetheart, a little bit of a shy kid.” His stepfather adds, “He’s easily impressionable.”
A message was also sent via Burgernet on Tuesday afternoon to look out for the missing boy.
