Almost two weeks away after the disappearance of the girl Lali Paola Moliner was reported in Havanathe little girl’s family has complained about the inaction on the part of the Castro authorities, who seem to be doing nothing to find the whereabouts of the three-year-old girl.
According to Rosana Álvarez Mayarí, the minor’s cousin, the family feels dissatisfied with how the little girl’s case has been handled, pointing out that if she were the daughter of any politician or military officer, the situation would be very different.
“Right now I want to know, what the hell… is this government, the police, the Council of State of this filthy country doing, that they haven’t found my 3-year-old cousin? It’s been 10 days and nothing, if it were the daughter or granddaughter of one of them it would have already appeared in whatever circumstance she was,” she reads in her Facebook post.
Likewise, the Internet user pointed out the different behavior adopted by the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) when it comes to foreigners affected on the Island, making evident the preference they receive over the Cuban people themselves.
“If a foreigner disappears or a bomb is placed in a tourist place, in less than 24 hours they look for the culprit, or invent it. “They are not looking for anyone, they are not doing anything…” wrote Álvarez, who pointed out that his cousin’s case is not the only case currently reported on the Island.
“There have been murders, disappearances, and they wash their hands. How long is this government going to remain in charge? “He questioned.
In another publication shared in previous days, the young woman thanked the support she has received from the Cuban community on the island and abroad.
“On behalf of the entire family we thank you for your complete concern and support. Many have written to me to ask about Paola, from several countries they have asked me to know about the girl. Grateful to all. Today they have not given any news, we continue to ask God and all the Saints that she appears safe and sound,” she wrote.
The gratitude for the minor’s concern comes shortly after had to deny several rumors that the girl had been found dead. The woman asked everyone who was involved in the case not to share information that was not published by her family, since misinformation is one of the worst enemies in a situation like this.
The minor was reported missing almost two weeks ago, after her mother’s body was found on the coast of Cojímar. The family indicated that the authorities have not shared specific information about the case, which is why they are desperate.
