Family Mourns Murder of Dominican Single Father in Bronx Vehicular Altercation

Relatives mourned the murder of Fausto García Rodríguez, a Dominican single father who lived in the Bronx and died after a vehicular altercation last Friday.

According to information from the authorities, García Rodríguez was killed with a shot to the chest on the Cross Bronx Expressway.

The 40-year-old man allegedly participated in a minor crash on this avenue.

A crew member of the other vehicle involved fled the scene, but returned minutes later in another car and after arguing, shot the victim.

García Rodríguez was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he died.

Through a page to request help for his burial, relatives revealed that García Rodríguez was a single father of 4 children, who remain orphans.

“Fausto García, left before the time due to the high crime that we are suffering in the city of New York,” says the publication made by Cruz Bautista, who identified himself as a relative of García.

“Along with him were his 4 children, many of them minors who are now left homeless.”

The authorities continue to investigate the facts.
