It’s raining falls in acting Flanders. After Ann Van den Broeck – known for musicals, Home on urgent – last weekend, is also family-face Maxime De Winne (44) fell heavily with the bicycle. That already happened last week.

“It was not a good week,” said De Winne. “Upright or mule, they say in Ghent. Well, I went nuts.”
The actor is left with eight stitches in his face. He put his girlfriend Laurence, who is a surgeon, in it herself. De Winne’s bicycle and helmet are ready for the landfill. “After the fall, I still looked pretty good. You should see me now. But I was lucky, that much is certain.”
The makers of family swear perhaps: the recordings have now started again. The new season starts on August 23 on VTM.
