A number of families of the victims of the Beirut port explosion and citizens gather in front of the General Directorate of State Security center in the Ramlet Al-Baida area, in solidarity with the arrested activist William Noun, and to demand his release.
Representatives Razi Al-Hajj and Jihad Pakradouni had arrived to support the families of the victims of the port explosion, and entered the State Security Directorate building, where Representative Melhem Khalaf is, to follow up on the summons against Noun.
Simultaneously, a number of citizens gathered on the western lane of the Jbeil Highway, opposite Sfeir Center, to protest against Noun’s arrest. A Lebanese army force is present at the site, to prevent the crowds from blocking the highway.
