– What measures are in place to ensure that the financial assistance reaches all eligible families of the deceased workers without delays?
Interviewer: Welcome to our interview with Shri Revanth Reddy, the honorable Chief Minister of Telangana, and Mr. Manda Bheem Reddy, NRI Cell Convenor. Thank you both for joining us today to discuss the recent announcement about the compensation for the families of Telangana workers who passed away in the Gulf countries. Shri Reddy, can you please tell our readers about the steps your government has taken to fulfill the promise of providing financial assistance to the families of these workers, and when they can expect to receive it?
Revanth Reddy: Thank you for having me. Yes, indeed, our government has initiated the necessary procedures to provide compensation to the families of the unfortunate workers who lost their lives in the Gulf countries. We are currently in the process of identifying the families and verifying their details. Once we have completed this process, the financial aid will be disbursed to them without any further delay. We understand the hardship faced by these families and want to ensure that they receive the support they need as soon as possible.

Manda Bheem Reddy: Yes, I agree. No other state in India has taken such a progressive step towards the welfare of their Gulf workers’ families. While the death of workers is a matter of great sorrow, it’s equally important to support their families who have lost their primary source of income. The Prime Minister has already stated that the government would provide help to these families, and we believe that it’s the governing party’s responsibility to ensure that their promises are kept. We hope this initiative will inspire other states to follow in our footsteps.
