Families meet for the pilgrimage

More than 450 people walked yesterday afternoon under a radiant sun from various points of the diocese to meet at the cathedral for a mass.

Those who started from Épernon cycled for 28 km. Yves and Geneviève, from Chartres, participated to get to know other families and to be in communion with all the faithful present in Rome for the canonization of Saint Charles de Foucauld.

Jérôme and his wife, parents of seven children, did not hesitate to walk from Thivars with a baby carried on their back.

They are happy to have taken part in this march which gives meaning to their lives.

Damien and Catherine came from Brou with their five children. They walked from Le Coudray in a very good atmosphere even if their daughters Margot and Espérance found it a bit tiring!

Claire came alone from Châteaudun after seeing the article by the republican echo Thursday.

She too was sensitized by the canonization of Charles de Foucauld.

Many Scouts, Cubs, Brownies and Guides have participated in its various walks carrying the banners of their group.
