On Monday morning, SYRIZA‘s presidential candidate, Sokratis Famellos, took a walk through the covered market of Kallithea and the businesses of the surrounding streets.
The Member of Parliament B’ Thessaloniki has put the weight on initiatives concerning accuracy and profiteering in the market, collecting data through his personal contact with professionals and citizens.
As reported by his colleagues, Sokratis Famellos heard the dissatisfaction of the shopkeepers for the low traffic due to the very low purchasing power, while on the other hand consumers highlighted to him the very serious issue of exorbitant prices.
“We will rebuild SYRIZA together”
“SYRIZA must change and become stronger in order to fight for the real problems of the citizens. We want you all to participate. I will guarantee that we will rebuild SYRIZA with you. Because the big problems are not in the offices of the parties, but in the problem of survival of the citizens and the market” said the contender for the leadership to an attendee trying to divert attention from the opposition to SYRIZA.
Sokratis Famellos was accompanied by MP Christos Giannoulis, who has openly supported his candidacy for the presidency. With them and dozens of members of the local party organization.
