Fame peril! returns to the airwaves Wednesday night, and the first game will feature queer actress Emily Hampshire from Ruisseau Schitt fame raising money for GLAAD.
All celebrities will play for charity, in hopes of winning the $1 million tournament grand prize for the organization of their choice.
Wednesday night’s game will be the first of seven quarterfinal matches. Hampshire will face Mark Duplass (The morning show) and Utkarsh Ambudkar (Ghosts). The second quarterfinal, broadcast on October 4, will feature Brian Baumgartner (Office), Lisa Ann Walter (Abbott Elementary School), et Timothy Simons (Veep). The competitors for the third, which will be released on October 11, will be Christopher Meloni (Oz, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Sherri Berger (Sherri, the view), and sports commentator Katie Nolan. All shows will be on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central and will be available to stream on Hulu.
