After a night meeting in a closed restaurant in Prague’s Vyšehrad, Faltýnek announced that he would end up as the first vice-president of the ANO movement, which was also invited by the Prime Minister and head of the movement Andrej Babiš (ANO). According to both, the deputies should have decided YES whether he should eventually end up in an influential parliamentary position.
–
“I wrote to all my colleagues after the unfortunate incident. I asked them for their opinion on how they saw it. More than two thirds of my colleagues wrote to me that I trusted them, “said Faltýnek after the meeting of the ANO parliamentary group.
–
He said with one breath that he was also ready to submit to a secret ballot. “More than 50 percent of the members of the parliamentary group should vote for the removal of the chairman. I asked my colleagues if they wanted to vote on it, and no one wanted it, “he added.
–
Faltýnek thus considers the whole event closed. “If someone at the club ever opens it again, I am ready to vote on the dismissal of the club president,” he added.
–
Shortly after the October meeting with Prymula, Faltynek’s trip to Malaga, Spain, also aroused controversy.
–
Prime Minister Babiš said that this was not a good example and that he did not like it. Babiš has repeatedly called on citizens to stay at home, go nowhere and reduce contacts in order to fight the coronavirus epidemic.
