On the other hand, the mayor of the Teleşti commune, Romulus Bîldea, claims that the data collected at the census are the real ones and he is not interested in the rank of the locality:

“Being close to the city, being 12 kilometers from Târgu Jiu, there are many people who live within the radius of the town, who do not live in the commune, but actually live in Teleşti.

Many people retired to the country, but did not change their address on the identity document. I have no problems with the degree of the commune. Salaries are determined by difference by the Local Council.
