Rue du Grand Faubourg in Chartres was closed to traffic for less than an hour on Saturday May 21.
Around 4:45 p.m., a person alerted the firefighters when he saw smoke coming from a planter in a building.
Firefighters deployed the large ladder while national and municipal police neutralized traffic. An ERDF intervention team also traveled.
On the spot, the firefighters did not discover any fire.
The device was lifted around 5:30 p.m.
