False bomb threat keeps KLM aircraft grounded in Bucharest | NOW

A KLM aircraft was grounded for hours on Saturday at the airport in the Romanian capital Bucharest after a false bomb threat. This confirms a spokesperson for KLM ANP after reporting by NH News.

The bomb threat was made for flight KL1376. That flight was scheduled to depart from Bucharest to Amsterdam on Saturday evening.

The passengers and crew were taken off board after the bomb alert and brought to safety. There were 89 passengers on board the aircraft.

The passengers are now accommodated in hotels and will fly to Amsterdam on Sunday.
