The latest update called “Wastelanders” for Fallout 76 has been released and adds some new features to the game. First things first: The game finally gets NPC characters and thus says goodbye to the philosophy of only keeping the game alive through players.
The free update includes the following features:
- Allies – These are very special human NPCs that bring more life to the C.A.M.P.s and offer players quests that can be tackled on a daily basis.
- Call system – The call system, which gives more weight to every decision made, is already known from previous Fallout titles. The more players help a faction by getting information, eliminating opponents for them and completing quests, the more their reputation increases with that faction.
- New events – Wastelanders Fallout 76 will enrich with two new, action-packed events: “Passenger” and “Radiation Brawl”. Whether you play caravan protectors or ward off the attacks of contaminated creatures, these new events bring unique challenges to Appalachia.
- Bug fixes – In addition to new content and bug fixes Wastelanders some UI improvements.
