Fallout 76: Steam version offered to game owners on Bethesda.net – News

On April 14, Fallout 76 will host its major Wastelanders update and at the same time make its Steam debut. If you already own the game on Bethesda.net, good news: you will be able to get it for free on the Valve platform.

The procedure is simple: follow this link, link your Steam and Bethesda.net accounts before April 13 (5:59 a.m.), and you will automatically receive Fallout 76 in your Steam library on April 14. All your progress will be saved, but be careful, Bethesda specifies that your Atoms or your Fallout 1st subscription will not be transferred “due to technical limitations”. Likewise, the Atoms won are linked to the platform on which you get them. However, the objects bought through the atomic shop will make the journey between the two platforms. Bethesda uploaded a FAQ to better navigate.

Another announcement: if you buy Fallout 76 on Steam between April 14 and 28, you will receive the pack for free Fallout Classic Collection, including fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics. The offer is also valid for current players who will activate Fallout 76 on Steam.

The Wastelanders update will introduce as a reminder the human PYP, two factions (settlers and looters) and a new main quest thread with additional locations, weapons and enemies.
