Seven-year-old Fallout 4 is soon ready for launch on the latest generation of consoles. Bethesda revealed it this week.

Fallout 4 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S launches as a free update for those who already own the original game. The new version will arrive in 2023 and will therefore also be available on PC.
Through their websites Bethesda says the update attracts with different modes and features depending on whether you want a high frame rate or high visual quality. It is currently unclear whether you can bet on both sides and, for example, achieve 60 frames per second and a 4K resolution.
Also, the update will introduce new content from the Creation Club, but the developer has not yet explained this point further.
Fallout 4 is the latest main game in the popular RPG series. The feature garnered rave reviews upon launch in 2015 and our Jonas Magerøy was generous in his praise of the experience.
