Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Bethesda Game Studios have postponed the release of the next-gen update for Fallout 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC from the previously planned 2023 to 2024.
“Thank you for your patience while we work on the next-gen update for Fallout 4,” the official Fallout account said in a tweet. “We know you’re excited, and so are we! But we need a little more time and we’re looking forward to an exciting return to the Commonwealth in 2024.”
As previously announced, the next-gen update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series will be available as a free update for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners. New items include performance mode features for high frame rates, quality features for 4K gaming, bug fixes, and Creation Club bonus content.
