– Yes, I am bisexual. On the way to harmony, when you are ready, God sends the right person. And I have love. What is real is beautiful and makes the world a better place. It seemed that it was only written in books, but it happened in my life. I wish I had won all possible battles. I am already at an age when I no longer have the strength to hide myself and hide from the world all the time.

I’ve done everything I can do, but I’m not ready to go down in misery because I can’t feel happy. I had lost my health from such stress. The hardest thing is to say yes to yourself.

On the other hand in conversation with RUS TVNET Elīna shared her opinion about how conservative Latvia is in LGBT+ issues.

“Latvia is Latvia. Our country has its own history, so something happens and doesn’t happen. I’m not going to blame anyone or get into politics, but if you want to know my thoughts, I think it’s very unfair that people who love one the other, live all their lives together, and one of them has to leave, the loved one can’t enter the ward, because they don’t mean anything to each other. I just see people’s resentment, because it happened to my acquaintances, friends. I’m very upset about it.”
