Falling corona numbers in Würzburg: reason to be happy or false hope?

Expansion of the 2G rule, canceled Christmas markets and the ramp-up of the vaccination campaign. All of this should help to counter the fourth corona wave. The nationwide 7-day incidence has been falling for several days and the number of new infections is also slowly falling for Würzburg. But last week, the head of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), Lothar Wieler, put a brake on the hope of an end to the fourth wave: The falling corona numbers may be due to overburdened health authorities and laboratories and are therefore not very meaningful. But does that also apply to Würzburg?
