Falling 7-day incidence: Relaxation of the Corona regulation on June 7th

The state of Baden-Württemberg passed an amendment to the Corona regulation on June 3. After that, with a 7-day incidence of less than 50 on five consecutive days, but no earlier than June 7th, it is possible to go directly to the third opening level. As the state capital has now announced, this requirement has been met for Stuttgart, so that further easing and easing will occur from Monday.

The head of the Stuttgart health department, Prof. Stefan Ehehalt, said of the falling infection numbers and the associated relaxation: “We are currently on the right track: The incidence figures have fallen significantly, the number of patients in hospitals has decreased and our elderly people are better protected. The success of the federal emergency brake and the increasingly positive influence of vaccinations are now finally becoming visible. But other factors, such as the warmer season and the low-threshold, regular tests, also contribute to this. In the best case, the 7-day incidence will now settle at the lowest possible level. After we have repeatedly succeeded in breaking the wave with very considerable efforts, it is now a matter of preventing another exponential increase. It must be clear to everyone: As long as the pandemic has not been defeated worldwide, we in Stuttgart will not have it completely under control for so long. “
