Renowned insider Tom Henderson has come up on Twitter with some short news about the games being prepared by Electronic Arts. Although we must emphasize that this is not official information, Henderson has proved in less than a year that he has really good resources.
The first game mentioned by the insider is planned Need for Speed lähde: Criterion Games. The studio was in charge of the racing series until 2012, when a part with the subtitle Most Wanted was released. Then the Ghost Games team (now EA Gothenburg) took over the baton, whose last title was Need for Speed: Heat from 2019. A few months later, it was announced that the Criterion studio would take over the development of the next part, but work on it was delayed. And according to the insider, this is mainly because development had to be stopped completely in the summer of 2021, when Criterion developers helped with Battlefield 2042. According to Henderson sources, EA is currently heading for issue in September or October this year.

Another expected, albeit still officially unannounced title is sequel Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order lähde: Respawn Entertainment. About the game recently he spoke journalist Jeff Grubb, according to whom she could come out this year (with a possible postponement for next year), while the announcement is due to come before E3. Henderson agrees, arguing that The May 4 announcement is very likely. According to him, the title should come out in the last quarter of this year, ie between October and December.

The third piece of information will probably come as no surprise to you. Henderson says his sources say he is The chances of releasing Dragon Age 4 in 2022 are zero. The game was announced at The Game Awards 2018 and we still haven’t seen any gameplay. Its development is really dragging on, it started in 2015, but since then the project has undergone many changes and a complete restart. Studio BioWare has long been worried about repairing Anthe, whose support it eventually stopped altogether, and in December 2020 it announced that it was also working on a new game from the Mass Effect series. So two big games are being created in his offices, but both are out of sight.
