Mediatonic has revealed four costumes for the upcoming Fall Guys season and announces more information at the Game Awards

When it was launched, Fall Guys generated a lot of interest and the result was very positive for Mediatonic, its developer company. Kicking off its existence with 150,000 active players on Steam, these numbers have spent months falling until the numbers stabilized around 15,000 players. That’s right, 90% of their first players were gone in just a few months. The closest thing was the second season, whose arrival shot its numbers to 83,000 players for one day. Perhaps, with season three, Mediatonic is looking to replicate this effect, but incentivize these people to stick around longer.

In Twitter, Mediatonic did a curious dynamic. This account decided to reveal four new Fall Guys costumes, but the dynamic was that each costume was hidden on a different social network: Twitter, Discord, Tiktok, and Instagram. However, a couple of hours later, they decided to share a photo that featured all of the new costumes.

The first is a reindeer, clearly bringing the season’s Christmas aesthetic to life. The same with the candle, since candles are a very common symbol in this season. It is a bit difficult to see why the princess is Christmas, but her dress is nice and colorful. Finally, the yeti is a yeti, there’s not much to go with that.

As exciting as these costumes can be, it’s a bit hard to get excited when you consider what happened to the biggest costumes from season two. Costumes like the knight and the witch can only be obtained by paying money, despite the fact that these were constantly shown in the advertising content. We’ll see more about this season at the 2020 Game Awards, which will be held in just a few days.
