Fall Guys just got even more chaotic (and we love it)

Have you found a secret strategy for every round in Fall Guys that will get you across the finish line flawlessly? Then say goodbye to that strategy. In anticipation of the second season starting next month, the developer today rolled out an interim update that is causing quite a bit more commotion in the – already – crazy and chaotic game.

From now on, players will no longer always be presented with the same course, but can now also encounter ‘variations of existing levels’. This means that players can now also encounter random obstacles such as a giant rotating hammer (which the developer has Big Yeetus are called), swinging balls and fruit cannons where they least expect them. According to developer Mediatonic, adding these ‘surprise elements’ should ensure that existing levels always feel fresh.

There is also good news for PC players who are annoyed by cheaters. The update adds the same anti-cheat system used in other popular battle royal games such as Fortnite. This should greatly reduce the number of cheaters.

Mediatonic is currently in the process of creating new content for the second season of Fall Guys will be dedicated to the Middle Ages.
