While some sleep through the change of time carefree, others struggle with how to cope with it. The latter include, for example, carriers who have to plan how their services will run around two and three in the morning. On the contrary, for example, the administrator of the giant tower clock is no longer bothered by the time change.
In the South Moravian region, bus routes 302, 304, 403, 405 and 501 are operating at critical times. As reported by the regional transport coordinator Kordis JMKuntil 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2024, all connections will depart according to daylight saving time. The first connection, the departure of which is governed by winter time, will be bus line 403. It will leave the Brno-Osová stop at 3:18 (winter time) and arrive at the final stop in Popůvek at 3:34 (winter time).
On the contrary, the administrators of temples and churches are no longer bothered by the change of time on the giant tower clocks. “The clock machine is automatic. Even in the surrounding villages, where there is an automatic machine, it is done without our intervention. In the thirteen years that I have been in the parish, all the clocks have always been adjusted on time and in order,” stated Pavel Pacner, provost chapter at St. Wenceslas in Mikulov.
