The tire manufacturer Falken Tire Europe, based in Offenbach, is strengthening its regional presence and its commitment to the sports sector: The company is now supporting the performance center of the traditional Kickers Offenbach club. In doing so, Falken is taking a step further in its efforts to promote young talent in football while at the same time emphasizing regional ties.
Performance center with sporting and social support
The OFC Kickers 1901 eV performance center is one of the nine performance centers in the regional league. There are a total of 58 such facilities nationwide, which are divided into three categories. The Offenbach center is in category two and not only offers young, talented players a sound sporting education, but also attaches importance to academic and social development. The close cooperation with various partner schools, including a DFB elite school in Frankfurt, ensures the young talents receive comprehensive support in all areas.
Thanks to Falken’s support, the structures in the performance center will be further professionalized. “With Falken’s commitment, we want to professionalize and further advance the newly created structures in our performance center“, explains Wencke Bongartz, the center’s director. The center wants to make progress particularly in the areas of sports psychology, integration and athletics and thus enable the young players to receive optimal training.
Falken strengthens regional ties
For Falken Tire Europe, supporting the OFC performance center is an opportunity to consolidate its local roots while underlining the values of a high-performance brand. “As a company that pursues the highest performance standards, we strive to promote promising young talent and specifically offer them better opportunities“, emphasizes Markus Bögner, Managing Director and President of Falken Tire Europe. With this partnership, the company is signaling its commitment to the Offenbach region.
Comprehensive advertising measures and naming rights
As part of the collaboration, Falken will receive the naming rights to the performance center, which will in future be called “Falken Performance Center Kickers Offenbach”. In addition, Falken will be present on various platforms, such as the club’s website and social media channels. The tire manufacturer’s logo will also be visible on the training grounds and in the performance center venues.
