Nvidia now has shown up the new “Eye Contact” beta tool for their Nvidia Broadcast 1.4 streaming software, which uses AI to make it appear as if the user is making more eye contact with the camera.
According to Nvidia themselves, the feature is for content creators who want to record themselves reading from a script. The company does not mention that the function is currently intended for video calls.
The AI eye contact is not continuous and is interrupted, for example, if the person looks far from the camera or turns their head clearly to the side.
