The police revealed other facts related to ZP alias TM (28), Densus 88 A fake anti-terrorist who was caught wearing a fake police service plate in the Puncak area, Bogor. ZP claimed to be a member of Densus in order to attract women and find ‘prey’ through his Instagram account.
“This ZP explained that he had an IG with a false identity, first the purpose was to monitor his ex-girlfriend. But it was later used to seduce women,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bogor Police AKP Siswo De Cuellar Tarigan to reporters, Monday (28/3/2022).
When secured by the Bogor Police Traffic Unit in Megamendung, Bogor Regency, ZP was with 4 women and 3 men. They were a group of 3 cars in a convoy.
“And coincidentally, when we were secured by traffic officers, we also secured several female friends, one of whom had a relationship with the suspect,” said Siswo.
“We asked where the acquaintances came from, one of them was from IG, then they met and established a relationship,” he said.
According to Siwso, the woman initially believed that ZP was a member of the police. His girlfriend only found out that ZP was a fake police officer after being arrested.
“And it turns out that the person in question that we have secured knows that the person in question is a member of the National Police. It was found out that the (police) was fake when he was arrested,” he added.
Siswo said that there were already 3 women who were victims of the ZP scam. However, so far no material loss has been experienced by the woman.
“According to his confession, there are only three (victims) and the account has only been owned for a year. There is no material loss (victims). If there are people who feel they are victims, please report them,” he explained.
ZP was secured in the Puncak area for going against the current and asking for priority on the road by turning on a strobe, on Saturday (26/3) night. ZP and friends at that time were going to Cipanas, Cianjur, West Java.
“The reason is that after drinking coffee from Ciawi, he wanted to eat at Cipanas. He was detained in Megamendung,” he said.
As is known, ZP was arrested by the police after being suspected of using a police service plate and going against the flow in the Puncak area. From the results of the examination, ZP, who claimed to be a member of the Densus, turned out to be a student and not a member of the Police.
