Fake airline tickets at Beirut airport

my news

Beirut airport in Lebanon has witnessed cases of counterfeiting airline tickets for Lebanese and Syrians, who bought tickets through offers through intermediary offices.

“Some gangs are promoting travel tickets in the local market and there are many travel and tourism offices operating on Lebanese territory, with significant discounts on the prices set by airlines,” Jan Abboud, office owners of the company, revealed in a statement. travel and tourism.

According to Abboud, many travelers fell victim to these gangs and their reservations were canceled prior to travel and barred from traveling, as it was found that the price of those tickets were paid with stolen or counterfeit cards.

He warned against the financial temptations represented by the inevitably incorrect and unrealistic prices and discounts offered by these gangs, and urged travelers to adopt authorized and union offices to ensure fair service and good treatment.

He stressed that these violations pose serious risks to the performance of the air transport sector and to the reputation of the tourism industry as a whole, at a time when these sectors are witnessing the professional synergy and official cooperation of the Ministry of Tourism to providing all means of encouragement and protection, as happened in the last summer season, which is what must continue now by pursuing and holding back attackers in the interests of agencies and travelers alike.
