Indonesian men’s doubles Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto defeated Taiwanese pair Su Ching Heng/Ye Hong Wei in the round of 32 Hong Kong Open 2023. Fajar/Rian progressed to the last 16 with a 21-14, 21-18 win.
In the match at Court 1 Hong Kong Coliseum, Kowloon, Tuesday (12/9) afternoon WIB, Fajar/Rian took the first two games in the first game. But the Taiwanese pair who were their opponents managed to equalize the score at 3-3.
After Fajar/Rian they were left behind. They managed to equalize the score at 5-5 after winning a rally, although after that they were behind again. At the first game interval, they were still 9-11 behind their opponents.

In the men’s doubles, Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan, Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan, and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin will play.
Meanwhile in women’s doubles, one Indonesian representative is certain to qualify for the last 16. That’s because the party Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti vs Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi will face off in the top 32 Hong Kong Open 2023.
