Twins Tariq and Amr Mohamed Sultan, sons of late artist Fayza Ahmed and late musician Mohamed Sultan, have revealed their mother’s friends within the arts community.
Amr and Tariq Muhammad Sultan said, during their meeting on the “Last Word” program, presented by the media, Lamees Al-Hadidi, about his mother’s friends within the art community: “The artist, Souad Muhammad, and the artist, Sabah, were close friends with his father.
Tariq added, “My dad composed a song, I Promise You, by artist Souad Muhammad.”
Musician Mohamed Sultan passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, aged 85.
Muhammad Sultan was born in Alexandria in 1937. He obtained a law degree, then devoted himself to acting, married the artist Faiza Ahmed and composed his most famous songs.
The late artist presented a group of major musical works, including: Why, Donia, The Market, Al-Sharas, Whispering the Slaves, Samara Al-Amir, A Prohibited Wife, A Permit to Kill, The Dancer and the Politician, The Scorpion , Children of Eh, My dear, we are all thieves, The little monsters, The scandal of the age, Friends of Satan, good news, the tiger and the female, the age of love, the berries and the prophecies, the lawful and the forbidden, the pursuer.
He has participated in a number of films, including: How sad you are, love, a private teacher, Jadaan Haretna, The Searcher for Love, The Zizi Family, Without an Appointment, The World of Girls, A Day Without Tomorrow.
