Lead singer of British dance group ‘Faithless’ Maxwell Fraser, aka Maxi Jazz, has died at the age of 65. The musician and DJ gained worldwide fame with the club hit “Insomnia”.

Fraser’s sister Bliss, who also played on ‘Faithless’, said on social media that the artist died peacefully at her London home on Friday night. Maxi Jazz died in his sleep.

“Sending love to everyone who was with us on our musical journey! Take care of each other,” the sister told Faithless fans.

In the group’s official statement on the Instagram platform, it is said that Maxi Jazz was not only a great artist, but also a nice and intelligent person. “He was a man who changed our lives in so many ways. He gave depth and meaning to our music.”
