According to information released by the Ministry of Health in the most recent epidemiological bulletin, the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes Covid-19, is the one that has been most widely circulated in recent weeks. In fact, according to data released on July 26, 98 patients were hospitalized for Covid, when 10 weeks ago there were only 19.

In this way, Covid-19 ousted influenza, which for weeks was the leading virus in circulation in the country, although the vaccination campaign against the disease caused it to lose strength.
