The 80-year-old voter fainted and lost consciousness. He was transported to a severe hospital
We recorded a dozen or so faints both at polling stations and below premises – said on Sunday the spokeswoman of the Voivodship Ambulance and Sanitary Transport Station “Meditrans” Anna Smereka.

– A spokeswoman for the Warsaw Ambulance Service said that on Sunday, rescuers up to a dozen or so reports about fainting at polling stations and before them on afternoon – she said.

She indicated that one of the people, an 80-year-old man, fainted and lost consciousness. “The man was resuscitated by the emergency medical team,” she said.
– He was taken to the Emergency Room to the Bielański Hospital in a severe condition, during resuscitation – she added.
– The news of the voter’s death in the polling station was premature, fortunately. Our senior voter collapsed but was taken to hospital. We wish him recovery – the PKW chairman Sylwester Marciniak said at 18:30.
The head of the Polish Military Contingent suggested that, given the high temperature and still persistent queues to polling stations in some municipalities, consider taking a bottle of water with you to vote.
