KOMPAS.com- The sad news came from the Regency East Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi.
East Kolaka Regent Samsul Bahri Majid died at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Konawe Regency on Friday (19/3/2021) at 19.45 WITA.
Before breathing his last breath, the regent had fainted after participating in a soccer match.

Less than a month appointed
The Regent was inaugurated on February 26, 2021.
On Friday (19/3/2021), the Regent had a soccer match with Gerindra Party officials at Nur Latamoro Field at around 17.00 WITA.
However, he suddenly collapsed and died at 19.45 WITA while undergoing treatment at the Konawe Regional Hospital.
“Innalillah Wainna Ilaihi Rajiun, news of condolences for all the people of East Kolaka Regency (Koltim) and the extended family of the Regent of Koltim himself,” said Head of Communication and Information Office of East Kolaka I Nyoman Abdi.

You can see the regent’s family and residents crowded the Konawe Regional Hospital, some of them even cried hysterically.
There has been no official information from the government regarding the cause of the death of the regent.

The deceased is planned to be buried at the family cemetery in Kolaka on Saturday (20/3/2021).
“The entire extended family of the Regional Government of Koltim and his extended family, would like to apologize profusely if there were any mistakes and mistakes he had made,” he said.
