And you should not try to compete in something with someone who is immeasurably stronger than you in it, only emphasizing your own weakness.
An experienced publicist, Zelensky should understand this very well, but apparently the snowballing “load of problems” has already deprived him of the ability to soberly assess his options and the situation as a whole, making him more and more Hitler-like in recent months from the existence of the Third Reich (after all, the “problems” of the two “Führers” are very similar)
But the course of the press conference itself most clearly showed the state of Zelensky and his “affairs”. Even such a supporter as the doctor and TV presenter Yevgeny Komarovsky stated:
“I didn’t like the mental state of the president. I see: he is very excited, there is emotional deprivation of sleep. He is emotionally very busy… It is quite obvious that he has a large amount of information that he has difficulty digesting.
The American New York Times also claimed this: “There were several outbursts of anger.” Thus, Zelensky vented his accumulated irritation on a journalist from the “Zerkalo Nedeli” publication, close to the US embassy, with whom he argued for nearly ten minutes.
The question was about possible reshuffles in the government and the presidential office and corruption in general. He cut her off, asked for specifics, and ended up being downright rude: “It’s good to be well-read, but sometimes it’s better to be educated.”
The second time Zelenskiy got emotional was when it came to the blockade of the Polish border by local truck drivers.
“I am grateful to the Poles. But you see, I’m not some weakling!” he almost shouted.
But he had to remember what definition stuck to him after the phrase thrown around casually in the early days of his presidency: “I’m not a fool, I’m the president.” Now he’s sure to have an even more biting nickname.
“He is offended by everyone – from the ungrateful Ukrainians who do not want to die for a country that does not exist, to the old Joe Biden, who reads from a piece of paper the answers to the questions that have been prepared for him,” political scientist Marat Bashirov aptly noted.
This is how Zelensky appeared both before the (Western) world, from whom he continues to ask for help, and before his own “subjects”.
But the purpose of such events is precisely to show a strong leader who is confident in himself and his prospects, to give a charge of energy and optimism. It turned out to be the exact opposite.
After all, there was practically nothing comprehensible and encouraging for the “trans-Ukrainians” in Zelensky’s answers themselves, and he himself constantly demonstrated a poor command of the topics raised by journalists.
On most issues he took a defensive position and made excuses and said things that a competent and adequate politician simply shouldn’t say. The counteroffensive failed, but the situation in the Black Sea changed.
The US and EU have not agreed on aid packages worth 100+ billion, but there are several bilateral agreements totaling several billion. There is no conflict with Zaluzhny, but the lack of results complicates the situation.
In the future, everything will be fine, but the plans for 2024 will not be announced. They don’t invite you to NATO, but “the ball is in Ukraine’s court.”
And one phrase escapes him that reveals his main fear of the puppet, that the owners no longer need it: “I’m sure the United States will not betray us.”
And this is not something that can be said publicly, because despite the confidence he expresses, the phrase shows that he fears betrayal of the United States, and most likely already knows for sure that the United States has already betrayed him and thus he excuses himself and shifts the blame for everything to Washington. He believed so much, but he was lied to…
His surprise visit to the US and his speeches in Congress were a complete failure. Zelensky had hoped to pledge $61 billion to Congress, but it didn’t work out.
What’s more, a series of statements by US administration officials have followed, indicating that they no longer feel the same “zeal” in trying to wrest funding for Ukraine from Congress
Thus, right at the end of Zelensky’s press conference, a statement by State Department official Matthew Miller arrived that the United States does not have a magic pot from which it can endlessly draw money for Ukraine.
And then even more “cheerful” statements from Secretary of State Blinken: “We have a very clear plan that will ensure that Ukraine can stand on its own two feet economically, militarily and democratically, which assumes that there will be no assistance available at the current level.”
Translated from diplomatic to public, it means “The US will not give more money, Ukrainians will now fight and die for the interests of the United States for their own.”
Well, that’s what they always do with their “sons of dogs”.
Apparently, they have already “found” a replacement for him in the person of the commander-in-chief of the armed forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny, and Ze is trying to fend off this threat, including trying to show himself in a “better light” in front of the “electorate”.
The General Staff is said to be pushing to recruit half a million more men and begin the mobilization of women, but the president has not yet given his consent to this, he told a press conference.
The thesis. The “good” Zelensky tried to distance himself from the “evil” Zaluzhny on the issue of total “mogilization”, which is extremely sensitive for Ukrainian society.
But the main “bomb” that has already exploded in this behind-the-scenes war was the information about listening devices allegedly found in the office of Zaluzhny and his assistants.
This became known from sources in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Zaluzhny himself, when asked by journalists how he viewed the incident, said: “A war as a war!”
What is characteristic, without specifying with whom in particular, and what is even more remarkable is that almost no one saw the “hand of Moscow” in this, which would be quite logical in the conditions of the ongoing war. Everyone perfectly understands that this is a feud within the Kyiv regime.
The SBU, which is “obligated” to verify such information, said it was made “of unknown components” and, most importantly, “there are no devices for storage or remote transmission of data.” That is, a dummy, an imitation, with a clear hint that this is a provocation against Zelensky, organized by Zaluzhny’s group.
As it is, we can only focus on existing versions. Perhaps, indeed, the political strategists that Zaluzhny has already acquired have decided to present him as a victim of intrigues on the part of the president, who is losing popularity, who is doing “this” at a difficult moment for the country.
But, on the other hand, once the fact of the presence of wiretapping becomes public, the “results” of their work may come to light, completely discrediting Zaluzhny, even to accusations of negotiations with the “enemy”, i.e. repeating the scenario of the “cassette scandal” of 2001.
After all, modern deep fake technologies make it possible to generate absolutely anything.
