Failure in the power plants of Teknecik and AKSA!

Caglayan Cesurer, Chairman of the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Corporation Employees Union (EL-SEN), made a statement on his social media account.

Cesurer, Chairman of EL-SEN, said, “As of yesterday, the power cuts due to the failure of two units in the diesel power plants in Teknecik Power Plant continued for a short time tonight on the grounds that there were also malfunctions in AKSA’s power plants.”

Cesurer stated that the cuts came to an end with 15 MW of energy taken from Southern Cyprus, “The energy supplied from the South will only be returned as energy. This country is not doomed to AKSA, the only requirement is to establish backup power plants as soon as possible for short-term failures.
