Generally every woman would always want to look beautiful. Not a few are even willing to undergo various beauty procedures in order to get the ideal face and body. But what if your beautiful efforts fail and make your partner leave you? This is what a woman from China felt.
As quoted from World of Buzz, a 43-year-old woman surnamed Jin ended up being divorced by her own husband after the beauty procedure she underwent failed. Jin reportedly had eyelid surgery in October 2019 at a hospital in Nanchang.
For the eyelid surgery, Jin has spent at least Rp. 44.7 million. However, the results of the operation he underwent for three and a half hours were not what he had desired. Instead of a compliment, Jin was called ugly by his own husband. Sad again, because of that the husband then decided to divorce Jin.

Apparently the eyelid surgery had made Jin’s eyelids swell. Up to three months after surgery, the swelling did not go away. Even though the hospital said that the swelling would go away in 3 days.
Jin himself said that people looked at him like a monster. Because of this, in April 2020 the hospital then offered to provide free surgery to repair Jin’s previously failed eyelid surgery. But after more than a year, Jin is still not satisfied with the shape of his eyes. He felt the inner corners of his eyes misaligned and that his eyelids were drooping.

“I spent money to make her beautiful not ugly, but then I just got worse. My request is for a refund of IDR 44.7 million and compensation for my mental health. I don’t know how to deal with it for the past few years. My husband even arguing to divorce me, he said I was ugly,” explained Jin.
Unfortunately Jin’s request for a refund was rejected by the hospital. The hospital said that before the operation Jin had signed a consent form stating that eyelid symmetry was not guaranteed after the operation.
