Deputy Chairman of the Gelora Party Fahri Hamzah invites the people by acclamation to elect the presidential candidate (capres) and vice president (wapres) Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. NasDem Vice President Ahmad Ali responded to Fahri’s invitation with an appeal not to ‘lick’ too much.
“If you want to curry favor, don’t be too excessive. If you want to become a minister, don’t be too hasty. There is a democratic process that we will go through, right,” said Ali to journalists in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta (Jaksel), Tuesday (26/ 12/2023).
Ali admitted that he knew Fahri to be very rational in maintaining democracy. He believes that recently Fahri has lost his rationality.
“That’s why I said, if you want to curry favor, if you want to please the leadership, don’t overdo it. I know Fahri, a person who has been very rational in maintaining democracy all this time. But I see that lately he has lost his rationality,” he explained.
Ali was reluctant to respond further regarding this matter. “So, we don’t need to take it too far,” he said.
Previously, Fahri Hamzah invites the public to be smart in voting in the 2024 presidential election. Fahri also invites the public to unanimously vote for Prabowo-Gibran.
This was conveyed by Fahri in his official X account, Monday (25/12). Fahri initially stated that there was a conceptual error in the vision and mission offered to the community.
“The initial concept was wrong. So it is impossible for people to choose someone who had the wrong concept from the start. In fact, the wrong concept has been maintained until now,” wrote Fahri. detikcom has asked permission to quote his tweet.
Fahri said that one of the changes or opposition was being offered, but according to him there were still parties who were still in power.
“The first one said change or opposition, but still nothing nyambi be ruler. Yes, that’s a contradiction. This is strange people No you can!” wrote Fahri.
Honorary then invited the public to acclamation to elect Prabowo-Gibran. Fahri also reminded us not to risk the future and asked all parties to unite towards a golden Indonesia.
“That’s why I invite all the people to vote for #PrabowoGibran2024 because the others don’t have a strong and fundamental reason. If they are just medicine for disappointment, that would be a shame. Don’t risk the future. This time we are united in looking at #IndonesiaEmas2045. This is Indonesia’s turn!” he said.
