Gelora Party Politicians Fahri Hamzah | asked the PSI General Chair Ganesha’s Sleigh face the governor of DKI Jakarta directly Anies Baswedan without hiding behind President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Fahri praised Giring, who made several statements that allegedly attacked Anies. However, he reminded Giring not to back down and was responsible for the accusations that had been issued.
“When @Giring_Ganesha attacks @aniesbaswedan, it’s good but don’t run away. Face all the arrows that come in. Do a counterattack. Don’t run away, let alone hide behind other people. Especially use the president’s name,” Fahri said through his tease, Friday (31/12 ).
Fahri also suggested the same thing to Anies. He wanted Anies to answer all the accusations made by Giring. In politics, he said, such statements should be taken for granted.
“The suggestion applies to both that an action must have a thesis reaction there must be an antithesis, that’s why conversations like this should be taken for granted,” he said.
Fahri also reminded Giring to dare to refute the counterattack directed at him. Moreover, Giring made a statement containing accusations against Anies.
“If you have the courage to express your opinion, you must also dare to be refuted, don’t stop talking and keep silent, and in fact, especially if it contains accusations that you are accused of, you must also answer because if you don’t answer it becomes the truth that destroys reason,” said the former deputy chairman of the DPR.
Giring made several controversial statements that allegedly cornered Anies. In his speech at PSI’s 7th anniversary, Giring admitted that he did not want Indonesia to be led by a liar who had been fired by Jokowi.
Giring did not specify who the figure in question was. Even so, many people speculated that the person Giring meant in his speech was Anies Baswedan.
“Indonesia will be gloomy if those who are elected later are liars and have also been fired by Pak Jokowi because they are incompetent at work,” he said, Wednesday, December 22.
Prior to this, Giring was more open in criticizing Anies. The former Nidji vocalist said that Anies’ concern in the midst of a pandemic and people’s suffering was a lie.
“We must remember the track record of these liars, as a material for consideration during the 2024 presidential election,” he said at the end of last September.
Giring’s statement drew the spotlight. A number of parties accused Giring’s statement of only seeking sensation for the sake of PSI’s political mission in the 2024 General Election.
