Work Steps
Soak up as much of the spilled soda as possible with a white washcloth.
Fill a spray bottle with cold water, then spray onto the soda stain.
Let the water soak for 1 minute.

Soak up the wetted soda stain with a paper towel. Absorb as much as possible until dry.
Check the remaining stains on the fabric sofa. If the dark stain is still there, it’s time to make the cleaning mixture.
Prepare a container, then fill 1 tablespoon dish soap non-bleach and stir together 2 cups cold water.
Wet a white cloth with the solution. Apply to the spill stain until the dark stain dissolves. Do this repeatedly while folding the cloth, using the clean part of the cloth when applying.
Prepare another cloth and then wet it with cold water.
Apply to the stain that has been given a solution while pressing until completely rinsed. This helps to clean the residue from the previous detergent mix.
Absorb the remaining water with a towel from the upholstery sofa.
